Samsung SyncMaster B2230N Monitor
This Samsung monitor is part of the Samsung 30 series
monitors which have been designed in order to be eco friendly as
well as user friendly. The monitor offers efficient power saving and
also uses innovative features, these allow the user to enjoy using
the monitor whilst knowing it is also environmentally
friendly.
The colours within the
monitor are 16.7 million, with the brightness being 300 cd/m2 with a
diagonal size of 21.5 inches. This is a fantastic widescreen monitor
which is projected through an LCD display. This monitor has also
been designed to be compatible with PC and
MAC.
Similar to a lot of Samsung products, this
product is produced in high gloss black colour. Some people may
wish to mount this monitor on a wall or other surface and this can
be done though buying a mounting device. Reviewers tend to be
very satisfied with the product, "I needed a cheap replacement for
an early flat-screen monitor that had gone completely
dead.
The computer is a 'workhorse' rather than a
highest-spec gaming machine so I wanted to spend as little as
possible. I bought this Samsung because in my experience the
overall quality of their products is always decent, whatever the
price, but when it arrived (next day, usual quality service from
ebuyer.com) I was very pleasantly surprised.
First of
all it's a great looker. The shiny 'piano black' finish and rounded
corners of the surround makes the monitor look really modern and
attractive in my modern office setting. The matching stand is neat
and sturdy enough. Setting up is a doddle. Out of the box, attach
the stand, connect the cables and switch the computer on. My
Windows XP accepted the monitor straight away and the Samsung
went into auto mode, telling me the optimum resolution setting was
1360x768 pixels - it then proceeded to configure my display
settings accordingly.
Once up and running the quality
of the screen is very good - considering the low price of the
monitor. Everything is crisp and clear, text is well-defined. I've got
one gripe - the stand is 'single-position'. There's no method of tilting
the screen up or down, which means that if like me your monitor
sits low on your desk you really need to get some raisers (or a few
old phone books!) to bring it up to eye level.
All in all
I'm really pleased with this Samsung and would recommend it to
anyone who needs a no-frills monitor at a very sensible price".
There are numerous different options within the monitor market but
this one is very highly regarded by many people. This Samsung
monitor can be bought online or from the high street. Prices vary
between retailers and therefore potential buyers advised to shop
around in order to ensure they buy the product for the best price.
